The use of multiple closely spaced dowels that go in snug ensures perfect precision wood joinery that is extremely strong. Please view our wood joinery Destructive Test Video page for strength test comparisons to biscuit joints and mortise and tenon wood joints.

The wood joint made with the Dowelmax has multiple, closely spaced dowels, and a precise and snug fit with no gaps to produce an extremely strong and well connected dry-fitted wood joint. The number of dowels used creates a large glue surface. Wood joinery surfaces can be made flush within .002 inches (0.05mm).

The distance gauge can be used to accurately align dowels on long work pieces. The operation of the Dowelmax referencing system ensures perfect results and practically eliminates measuring. All multiple dowelwoodworking joints built with Dowelmax are made using the same basic method for all sizes and configurations.

The Dowelmax dowel jig comes with a detailed instruction booklet and instruction DVD detailing the above steps. If you need additional information or assistance, please contact us by telephone or Email.
